1: EcoVadis Platinum award
For the second consecutive year, allnex has achieved the prestigious Platinum rating from EcoVadis in 2023. EcoVadis has raised the score for attaining Platinum. However, thanks to our progress and the hard work of all teams involved, allnex have been able to surpass this new threshold.
2: Scope 3.1 emission reduction
We have set an ambitious target to reduce Scope 3.1 emissions by 30% by 2030, underscoring our commitment to addressing indirect emissions across our
3: Renewable electricity
Aiming for 85% renewable electricity across our operations by 2030, we continue to focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions with on-site solar and wind projects.
4: ISCC PLUS certification
As of 2023, a total of 7 allnex sites have been certified to ISCC PLUS. These are Bergen op Zoom (NL), Werndorf (AU), Romano d’Ezzelino (IT), Schoonaarde and Drogenbos (BE), Lillwström (NO) as well as Bien Hoa (VNM).
With the ISCC Plus certification, the sites can now certify biobased products using a mass balance approach. They are part of a supply chain that both sources and offers biobased products with third-party oversight.
5: Diversity & inclusion
We have almost 4,000 employees stationed in 34 locations. Their diversified talents, backgrounds and capabilities are our greatest treasure – especially in today’s dynamic business environment.
6: Expansion in Asia
The Jiaxing site in China is now allnex’s largest manufacturing facility globally, marking significant growth in the APAC region.
7: Water & waste management
Sites like Changshu (China) and Schoonaarde (Belgium) have implemented innovative water conservation practices, significantly reducing our water usage.
8: Sustainable portfolio management
The ECOWISE™ Portfolio Sustainability Assessment (PSA) framework is driving progress, with 50% of allnex’s business targeted to come from ECOWISE™ labeled products by 2030.
